Beginning Wednesday, September 1st, Monroe Free Library will once again require visitors to wear a mask. This decision is in accordance with guidance from the Orange County Health Department that individuals should wear masks in indoor public settings regardless of their vaccination status.
Monroe Free Library will return to our standard Wednesday and Sunday hours beginning September 8th. On Wednesday, September 8th will be open from 1PM-9PM and on Sunday, September 12 will be open from 12PM-5PM.

The library is returning to its standard schedule of access on April 1st. The library will be open until 8 o'clock on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and until 9 o'clock on Wednesdays.
The library will begin charging fines again beginning on March 1st. If you have outstanding materials, please try to return them before that date. We will remain Fine Free for Seniors over 62 years old.
