Dear Library Patrons,
On February 10th, 2022, Governor Hochul lifted the Statewide Indoor Business Mask or Vaccine Requirement. At the February 14th Board of Trustees meeting, the MFL Board of Trustees voted to end the mask requirement for patrons entering the library.
Library staff and the Board of Trustees would like to express that masking is still appreciated and welcome in the library, but no longer mandatory.
Patrons who wish to continue wearing a mask in the library should feel free to continue to do so without hesitation, reservation, or shame. Our staff will certainly do the same.
We will continue to
reevaluate our policy and provide an update if and when there are any changes.
We thank you for your continued patience and
kindness as we navigate these changing times together.
