Starting the first week of summer reading July 8th bring your logs or activity sheets, one time per week to get your log stamped, get your weekly prize, new brag tag and a weekly raffle ticket to be put in the appropriate age container.

 

We encourage our children from grades K and up to read at least 30 minutes a day. It can be broken up into two 15 minute segments or whatever works best for you. Write in your log what book you are reading and how much time you have read each day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Summer Reading is a 5-week program that starts July 8th until August 8th. You must be registered for the Summer Reading Program to participate in the activities.
 
How to Register
Registration for the Summer Reading Program must be done in person and you MUST be a Monroe Library card holder in order to participate in the planned activities.
 

Registration for the age-appropriate programs will be done online the week prior to the activity. For example, to register for Jungle in a box preschool activity(July 8th) you would register beginning on July 1st for that craft.
 
Registration for each program will open the Monday prior to the activity and remain open for the week until filled.
 
 

 

The winning raffle tickets will be drawn on the last day of Summer Reading, August 8th.

 

All participants will receive a Summer Reading Completion certificate to present to their teachers in September and ALL will receive a goody bag with lots of treats!
