 Walking toddlers ages 12 months to preschoolers under 4 can join Miss Sue's circle of friends for stories, songs and general silliness. Caregiver participation is critical for success in this lively celebration of early literacy skills.  

This program will be held in the program room in the children's area or weather permitting, on the deck. Please register as space is limited.

A special time for our youngest library members and their caregivers! Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, music and fun. Age appropriate sensory exploration and play will follow our circle time. 

Join us for a calming journey into the art of Tai Chi - a gentle form of exercise that promotes balance,flexibility, and peace of mind.  In this three-part series, a certified instructor will guide participants through slow, flowing movements that reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

GRADES 6 - 12

Join Suzanne Morris, author-illustrator of A Trapezoid is NOT a Dinosaur!, for a night at the library. Suzanne will share her creative process and lead a hands-on illustration workshop. Participants will create expressive characters and stories of their own. They'll leave with tips and tools to develop them further.

Learn the basics of watercolor painting ONLINE with artist Shawn Dell Joyce! Shawn will take you step-by-step through the process of painting this fall pumpkin still life, and show you the basics of brushwork (washes, dry brush technique, spattering, and lifting up color), how to mix color and darken or lighten using only water. She will also show some interesting painting techniques like negative painting, wet-into-wet, and making very thin lines with a brush. To participate, have a set of 12 watercolors (pans are ok, tubes are better), a big round brush, a small pointed brush, and a flat square shaped brush about 1/2 inch, Pencil, and watercolor paper sheet 9x12, paper towels, cup with water in it.

Do you need some help with your laptop, your phone, your Ereader. Every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, the reference department will provide walk in tech help. Our team we will do our best to help with your problem and point you in the right direction as needed. It is a first come first serve basis and this service will only be available from 4-5.Though you do not need to sign up, you may want to call before coming in

Beyond the iron gates, there's a haunted mansion with the whispers of ghosts echoing in the halls... Come and join us for a choose-your-own-adventure through the spooky halls of an abandoned house, while discovering the scary sounds that can be made with musical instruments!
