Join fellow parents on Zoom for a supportive, open conversation about The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. This parent-focused discussion will be led by our Executive Director, who brings both professional insight and personal experience as a parent navigating these same challenges. Together, we’ll share thoughts, questions, and real-life perspectives in a judgment-free space.

Teaching sign language to babies and toddlers can foster communication, boost brain development and support bonding with your child.  Join Miss Dorey to learn these skills and have fun with your child.  Please register.  This program will be in the program room in the children's area.

Chess with Wes (Community)

This exclusive elementary school ages program encourages students to learn about and explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math.  

We will offer activites, games, specialty arts and crafts and more in open house learning stations for kids to learn, play and explore.  Please register and come by anytime between 12 and 3pm. Remember there is no school this day. 

This program will be held in the program room in the children's area.

Pre-K through 1st Grade

Using model magic, we will make a tangible example of the stages of metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly-Wow!

🗡️School is out for spring break, but your work isn't done. There are monsters to fight!

👹The library is hosting a play through of Monsters of the Week, the tabletop role playing game (TTRPG). During this session players will build their characters, meet their teammates, and learn how to play the game.

🧪Registration is required. This is a two-part event. You must be able to attend both sessions on 3/31 and 4/1. The event will take place in Room B, and pizza will be provided!
