Join us at the library for a cozy reading adventure with a buddy! Our teen volunteers are hosting a day of reading for families. Each child will be matched with a buddy who will read them a story of their choice. Stick around after storytime to decorate festive bookmarks, perfect for expressing your creativity! Think glitter, stickers, googly eyes, and fun!

Come dressed in your holiday best and we will take care of the rest. We will take your  photo in front of our green screen and transform your photo into a fun holiday card!

• Each session is 10 minutes.
• Choose from 8 holiday themed backgrounds
• Holiday card jpeg will be emailed 48 hours after photo session.

Let's make some Muppets Puppets! In preparation for the library's showing of the Muppet's Christmas Carol, come make some muppet-tastic puppets like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and more Muppets friends out of paper bags and felt. Amaze everyone with your puppetry skills--then, bring your puppet to the movie next week!

Walking toddlers ages 12 months to preschoolers under 4 can join Miss Sue's circle of friends for stories, songs and general silliness.  Caregiver participation is critical for success in this lively celebration of early literacy skills.  

This program will be held in the program room in the children's area or weather permitting, on the deck.  Please register as space is limited.

GRADES 6 - 12

Join Sara and former teen volunteer Eli at the library's monthly teen Craft Club!

Sara and Eli will teach you how to make a bunny stuffed animal made out of a simple square. This project can be done using both crochet and knitting. Pick your favorite! Beginners and pros alike are welcome! Tea and hot chocolate will be provided along with all supplies.

Eli has been crocheting for 4 years. In that time she has crocheted everything from dice bags to dog blankets. She has taught many of her (entirely willing) friends to crochet as well.

(Registration begins for all Teen programs on the 25th.)
