Teaching sign language to babies and toddlers can foster communication, boost brain development and support bonding with your baby.  Join Miss Dorey to learn these skills and have fun with your child.  Please register.

Chess with Wes (Community)

Walking toddlers ages 12 months to preschoolers under 4 can join Miss Sue's circle of friends for stories, songs, and general silliness. Caregiver participation is critical for success in this lively celebration of early literacy skills.  

Please register-- space is limited.  This program is in the children's area program room.  

Learning ASL in middle school enhances cognitive abilities, boosts empathy and cultural awareness and improves communication. Tweens in grades 6, 7 and 8 can work with Miss Dorey to learn this special skill or build upon previous study.  Registration is required.  

This program will be in Room B. 

  A special time for our youngest library members and their caregivers.  Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, music and fun. Join us in the program room nearest the children's area.  Please register as space is limited.

🔎Join the Battle of the Books team at our monthly Teen Book Club! We're reading Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. This is one of the 8 books our team will read in order to compete in the annual RCLS-wide trivia competition.

📖You do not need to be part of the team to join in on the fun. Anyone is welcome to stop by and share their thoughts on this month's book. Just make sure to read it ahead of time! If you need help getting a copy, ask the Children's Desk.

Do you need some help with your laptop, your phone, your Ereader. Every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, the reference department will provide walk in tech help. Our team we will do our best to help with your problem and point you in the right direction as needed. It is a first come first serve basis and this service will only be available from 4-5.Though you do not need to sign up, you may want to call before coming in
