Our team we will do our best to help with your problem and point you in the right direction as needed. Join Miss Emily to sing, dance and create a joyful sound! Participants will sing folk songs from America around the world and play djembes, shakeres, balaphon, and other percussion instruments from America, Africa, China, Latin America, and Native America. They will explore the these five elements of music rhythm,tempo, timbre, dynamics and melody as they sing and make music from all corners of the Earth.
Children will also enjoy the musical instrument meet and greet after the program where they can spend time strumming and banging and really getting to know Miss Emily's collection of instruments.  Please register.

Open to Monroe Free Library card holders starting Kindergarten September 2026 in the Monroe Woodbury School District. Register for week one and you are registered for all four weeks. Due to the nature of the program, we can not take new registrants week two, three or four. Thank you.  

Join Susan and Diane this summer to prepare for a confident and successful kindergarten year!  Each week we will focus on different important competencies such as following directions, fine motor skills, and positive social and emotional behavior. We will reinforce academic foundations: letters, colors, numbers and shapes with games and activities and we will share stories, books and fun.  

To get the most out of this program we encourage participants to attend all 4 sessions independently. Parents and caregivers are asked to wait in the library. Family members are invited to attend our graduation ceremony on August 3.

This exclusive elementary school ages program encourages students to learn about and explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math.  Today we will learn about catapults and make our own.  

We will offer activities, games, specialty arts and crafts and more in open house learning stations for kids to learn, play and explore.  Please register and come by anytime between 4pm to 530pm. .
